Brutalism Graphics
Type of project
Illustration
These graphics originate from the desire to translate architectural brutalism into a contemporary visual language, suspended between photography and abstraction. Brutalism, with its raw and unornamented aesthetic, becomes here not only a formal reference but a true compositional method.
Concrete structures are fragmented, isolated, and recontextualized: no longer buildings to inhabit, but modular elements to observe. Stairs, pillars, and volumes emerge as pure forms, almost sculptural, freed from their original function. This process of deconstruction reflects the brutalist idea of material honesty, while shifting it onto a graphic and conceptual plane.
